(TruthSeekerDaily)  Philanthropic Uruguayan President José Mujica has opened his heart and his mansion for approximately 100 children who have been orphaned due to the Syrian civil war.

These children are expected to arrive by September straight from the refugee camps located in the Middle East.  Since The UNHCR (UN High Commission for Refugees) doesn’t relocate any orphan child without a family member, each child will come along with at least one close relative, like a cousin, an uncle, or a sibling.

President Mujica has been known to give more to others than he takes for himself and continues that good will beyond his borders to benefit those that are dyer need of assistance.  Along with taking in these orphaned young ones, the Uruguayan government will assume responsibility for all of their expenses.

José Mujica lives in a 1-bedroom house and donates nearly 90% of his $12,000 salary every month to charity.  As such he’s been affectionately labeled as the world’s ‘poorest’ president.

What a great leader that other leaders and individuals world-wide can learn from and be inspired by is selfless example.
