Russell Brand Calls For A World-Wide Peaceful Revolution

  • Anti-austerity Protesters Gather In London

(TruthSeekerDaily)  As a long-time advocate for a peaceful world as accomplished by the power of the people, Russle Brand is now publicly calling for a peaceful revolution and urging people not to support the infrastructures of today which he feels helps to decide how countries are run.  It's becoming increasingly more apparent that who we vote into power has little to do with how things are run, rather it's big corporations that influence government in a way that average citizens have no control over.

During a meeting at London's Parliament gathered to raise awareness about austerity measures, Russell took center stage, unplanned, and addressed about 50,000 with his motivational message.  His popularity among the world wide community of people trying to change the world for the better made him a great fit for the event, and a welcomed surprise to those in attendance. Brand plays many roles in movies, yet feels his most important one is to use the fame he's been given, for good by drawing attention to the reality of various global issues.

Brand spent a great deal of last year urging people to re-think the way our world works and peacefully come together in revolt. Renewing his call for revolution is no surprise given it seems Brand has stayed true to his views and continues to feel this is one of the only ways to truly make change.

In typical Russle Brand style, his message is complete with a loving and heartfelt side. He believes that one can find a lot of peace and joy in coming together with others and helping each other in achieving what we wish to achieve, together.  Although the term 'revolt' often carries with it a forceful and violent vibe, it's not necessary to take such a negative tone in an effort to enact change, in fact the opposite is more effective, which is what Brand stands for.

“Power isn’t there (in the House of Commons), it is here, within us. The revolution that’s required isn’t a revolution of radical ideas, but the implementation of ideas we already have.” Russell Brand
