An Elderly Man With Alzheimer’s Went Missing… But He Wasn’t Lost. Wait Til You See Where He Was.

  • (TruthSeekerDaily) Alzheimer's disease is a slow progressing and frustrating condition not just for who's inflicted with it, but for those that love and care for that individual. The disease slowly causes the mind and memory to degenerate and as it progresses the individual forgets who they are, loses key parts of their personality, and sadly draws away from those closest to them since they become strangers to the ill too. Although the mind goes, the heart remains the same, and this touching story proves this fact.

Three years ago, Melvyn Amrine was diagnosed with Alzheimers. Ever since the start of his illness, he has faded away and his wife Doris, who lovingly took care of him. They had been married for 60 years, when suddenly he went missing. Naturally, this send Doris into a panic.

  • The Magical World Of Mushrooms In Macro Photography By Steve Axford

  • (TruthSeekerDaily) There is a massive variety of mushrooms in our ecosystem, each one as diverse on their own as the entire animal kingdom. However, many of us have never seen them like this. Although nature photography usually focuses on other larger objects, we often miss the beauty and diversity that mushrooms have to offer. One photographer, Steve Axford, is putting the 'fun' in fungi with his incredible photography. Through it, he provides us with a whole new appreciation as seen in the visual discoveries he shares with his devoted online followers.

Axford lives in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales in Australia, but he travels all around the world, capturing photos of rare animals, plants, and many different diverse people that he meets. What he loves photographing most, however, are fungi, many of which are so rare that they’ve never been photographed before – at least not in such an inspiring and artistic way. Enjoy!

These artistic photos curated for you here is just a small sampling of Axford's work, but provides a great appreciation for what could be underfoot on your next forest walk. It goes to show that the beauty is in the details and it's amazing what we see when we look a little closer and with eyes that desire to discover.

  • A 1 Year Old Child Fell To What Should’ve Been Certain Death. But Watch THIS…OMG.

  • (TruthSeekerDaily) It's not necessary to go to a movie theater to see fictional superheros that save the day. The amazing individuals live among us, wear normal clothes, have normal physiques, but when presented with certain circumstances, do incredible things to save the life of another. That's exactly what happened recently in China, when one man, minding his own business, walking down the street, saw a tragedy happening right before his very eyes. With quick and deliberate reaction, he stopped his day at that moment to help, as other passers kept on going. It was because of this man and one other helper, than an infant survived and went on to see another day.

  • A Girl Decided To Snorkel In This Remote Lake… And What She Found Will Take Your Breath Away.

  • Island

(TruthSeekerDaily) There is a secret and magical world in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, where you can swim among countless jellyfish and it's not in the least bit terrifying. The remote island of Palau, officially the Republic of Palau, is a country located in the western Pacific Ocean, which is the nearest piece of land to this water wonderland.

A lake on this island as been appropriately named Jellyfish Lake, as it is filled with millions of jellyfish. The creatures migrate across the lake every day and snorkeling among them is a popular activity for tourists (even though that sounds a little risky). One snorkeler named Nana Trongratanawong decided to take a dip with the friendly jellyfish. Although her dive was incredible, it can certainly be difficult to get the courage to do something like this yourself. However, the reward of her bravery really paid of with the most amazing experience.

Although it is safe to snorkel with the jellyfish, scuba diving isn’t allowed. Not only are the bubbles from the tanks potentially harmful for the jellyfish, but the anoxic layer that begins at about 15m down contains high concentrations of hydrogen sulfide which can be absorbed through the skin of a diver (which is lethal).
Nana’s dive (which she filmed using a GoPro) is a completely surreal experience. Experience this awesome opportunity for yourself from the safe distance of your computer screen.

  • This Guy Spent 10 Years Working On His Hedge. When You See It… OMG. It’s Unbelievable.

  • (TruthSeekerDaily) We live in a world of instant gratification. If we can’t have it now, we throw a tantrum and just quit. But that’s just not possible when gardening. You have to spend countless hours, days, or even years, to grow amazing things. It’s the ultimate teacher of patience. So when this gardener set out 10 years ago to create a work of art for his wife, he knew what he was getting into.

Meet John Brooker, a 75 year old gardener from England.

10 years ago he set out to create something beautiful for his wife

It has taken him nearly a decade to perfect the mythical beast, adding
extra details as the hedge has grown over the years.

Mr. Brooker spends hours trimming the huge 20ft high hedge to
    keep it in shape.

    The result is truly amazing!

Wow. That’s truly dedication. I guess maybe I should be a little more satisfied with myself when I at least mow the lawn. That’s an equivalent skill, right?
