(TruthSeekerDaily)  An eight-year-old boy promised his father that on his dad’s 57th birthday he would gift him his dream car.  23 years later the boy is making good on that guarantee.

The son, Mike King who is now 31, said his father Roger King had always dreamed of owning a 1957 Chevy Bel Air.Chevy

“He grew up poor in a family of 7 children,” Mike wrote on YouTube. “He never thought he would be able to own his dream vehicle but would talk about it all the time.”

Mike never forgot the statement he made to his father as a child and was happy he could fulfill that promise.

“Oh my, oh my. This is real. This is real,” Roger King said as he climbed into the driver’s seat. “You’re kidding me. This is spotless, man.”

Mike bought the car two years ago in New Hampshire and hid it so he could give it to Roger on his birthday. His father didn’t realize that he had helped his son pick out the car.  Mike and his father would talk regularly about older vehicles and he would show his dad pictures of the car from the listing he purchased it from.  Unbeknownst to Roger that very car would be his one day.

Mike wanted to do this for his dad because Roger meant the world to him.  He was not Mike’s biological father, but was definitely his dad and is who raised him.
