Man, isn’t it annoying when you accidentally delete an important email? And wouldn’t it be great if there was a publicly funded organisation who had the resources, and nothing better to do than hold onto all your personal data just in case? And would it not be reasonable then, if such an organisation was working in league with your email account provider (such as Google), to expect that when you made a boo-boo, you could simply call them and ask them for a little friendly assistance? Although the NSA wasn’t eager to help Iran-born Dutch filmmaker Bahram Sadeghi with his lost email, they sure were keen to get his contact details. Probably in case they found it. [Source]
